About Grumpio
Engineering for Regulated Fintech
Grumpio builds fintech and digital-asset businesses from product and infrastructure through to operational controls and regulatory readiness. Platforms for the United Kingdom and the European Union are engineered, deployed and kept auditable through one accountable engagement — during the build and throughout live operation.
Company Definition
From Software to Regulatory Readiness
Grumpio is the public brand of Grumpio LTD, a fintech engineering and regulatory-readiness company serving the United Kingdom and the European Union. It is not a general-purpose digital agency: product engineering, infrastructure, AML/KYC workflows and operational-readiness work for regulated financial and digital-asset businesses are combined in one delivery model, with regulatory and audit requirements treated as architecture inputs rather than post-launch additions.

What Grumpio Builds
The catalogue covers the layers a regulated financial business would otherwise split across several suppliers. Every solution is engineered on established, modular foundations, adapted to the customer's brand, operating model, permissions and jurisdiction, and delivered so management can focus on customers and growth rather than supplier coordination.
-
Digital asset exchange infrastructure
Trading, wallets, ledger, AML/KYC, permissions, records, reporting and production infrastructure are designed as one operating platform rather than a trading interface with gaps behind it.
-
E-money and payments infrastructure
Accounts, balances, ledger, cards, payments and back-office operations are designed as one financial system rather than disconnected products.
-
AML, KYC and blockchain risk
AML screening and KYC verification consolidate identity checks, person and company screening, ongoing monitoring and wallet-risk controls into one consolidated workflow.
-
Contracts, readiness and advisory
Smart contracts and tokenisation, regulatory-readiness engineering and architecture advisory complete the catalogue for businesses building or transforming a regulated operation.
Delivery Models
One Engagement, Several Models
The same platform family is offered through commercial models selected around jurisdiction, internal engineering capability, hosting and data requirements and intellectual-property expectations. Whatever the model, delivery follows the engineering approach described on the technology page: documented systems that a customer's own team can understand, operate and extend.
- Complete delivery: product, infrastructure, integrations, controls, deployment and launch support under one programme.
- White-label: an established system adapted to the customer's brand, operating model, roles, limits, fees and integrations.
- Source-code enterprise delivery: source code, deployment assets, technical documentation and a structured handover to the customer's engineering team.
- Existing-system transformation: performance, architecture, integration, control or readiness improvements applied to a current platform.
- Architecture and advisory: technical strategy, product architecture, supplier decisions and implementation roadmaps, with direct implementation support where required.
- Managed engineering: maintenance, feature development, infrastructure operations, observability, incident response and release management.
- Regulatory-readiness engineering: software, information systems, access controls, records, business continuity and operating workflows configured against the relevant requirements.
Working Principles
Speed, Transparency and Ownership
Three behaviours define how engagements are run. They are demonstrated through project decisions, scope definitions and delivery outputs rather than stated as marketing claims, and they apply in the same form from the first meeting to the engineering support that continues after a platform goes live.
Speed
Technical decisions and execution move without unnecessary institutional delay. Established, modular systems remove the delay of a full greenfield build and allow deployment, customisation and readiness work to progress in parallel.
Transparency
Scope, risks, dependencies, costs and limitations are made explicit. Included and excluded work is separated in every proposal, and claims that cannot be evidenced are not made.
Ownership
A problem is addressed across its complete operating impact rather than at the boundary of a single module. After launch, we remain the engineering partner responsible for keeping the platform current, secure, auditable and ready to grow.
Company Structure
Brand and Regional Structure
United Kingdom and European Union engagements are contracted and delivered through Grumpio LTD. Two further names appear alongside the Grumpio brand, each with a clearly defined role.
-
Legichain
Legichain is Grumpio LTD's KYC, screening and risk-intelligence product brand — not a separate legal entity. AML screening and KYC verification engagements in the UK and EU are delivered through it and contracted through Grumpio LTD.
-
Serçe Development
Our Türkiye and Middle East engagements are delivered through our regional company, Serçe Development.
Service Boundary
Scope and Responsibility
We do not provide legal opinions or guarantee authorisation. We implement regulatory and audit requirements across technology, infrastructure and operations.
Next Step
The Scope Is Defined Together
An introductory meeting reviews the target market, operating model and existing systems; the appropriate solution, delivery model and roadmap are planned from there.
